I had known Jackie Gleason had once starred in a version of "The Life of Riley", but I hadn't seen the series until now. It's no "Honeymooners", But it's pleasant, and a good example of what early sitcoms were like. Plot: Riley has to have his Tonsils out, But becomes hilariously scared. Not the best show of the period, But certainly not the worst. Jackie Gleason!!
